Someone really needs to explain to Jason that 1 am is /not/ the best hour to go out for coffee. Especially not on a school night.

New shower curtain!! Hoorah!

You see, the old shower curtain was lighter, so therefoore, when in the shower, there was a lot of light. But with the new shower curtain, which is a dark navy blue, it's all dark in the shower. And...it's better darker. Don't ask me why, but it is. Or maybe it's just a 2a m shower thing..

Sometimes I love my family. I really do...

*Mom and Dad are talking. Only words that we catch are 'morning', 'go' and 'move'"

Me: What's going on in the morning?
Devon: Who's going where?
Dad: I'm talking to your mother.
Me: Are you leaving?
Dad: No
Devon: Would you?
*Devon and I crack up at ourselves*
Devon: So where're you going?
Me: What're you getting me?
Dad: Nowhere and nothing.
Me: Are you leaving?
Devon: Soon?
Me: When're you going to be home?
Dad to Devon: When do *you* go home? She *looks pointedly at me* is never this bad when you're not here.
Devon: I have no home.
Me: You are home. Home is where the heart is.
Devon: *clutches her chest* Where is it?!
Me: Did you look inside the turkey?

*Dad shakes his head and walks away*

Me: When're you coming back?

So, I have about 2 hours to figure out how I'm supposed to take a saddle to school, and keep it in my locker. Eee..Jen's picking me up after 3rd period and taking me out to the stable. I've got to meet the farrier with Aarin, then we're going out for a nice long ride while it's still light out.

Our ride on Monday was amazing. Aarin, Jess and I were out for 3 hours, then spent another 2 hours playing with the yearlings when we got back to the stable.

There is no better mode of transportation then horseback. When you're out on the trails, and backroads with no sounds of traffic, or the sights urbanization; It's so easy to just pretend that it doesn't exist. That you're free.

So we rode for a few hours, then we were riding by this farm, and decided to go ask the woman if we could see her one horse in the field, so we road up her driveway and up on the lawn, and waited until the woman came out.
